ADHD PEI has created several volunteer led groups to participate in. Our Support Groups are for those who: Have ADHD, have a loved one with ADHD, or have questions about ADHD. A diagnosis of ADHD is NOT required to participate.
Our TEAM
We are a not-for-profit grassroots organization run by people with first-hand insight and experience with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). From the vision of founder Sandy Slade, we have been working since 2018 to help people with and affected by ADHD in Prince Edward Island. Our group's mission is to support Islanders with ADHD and their loved ones through education, advocacy, and peer support. Our goal is not just to help each other survive, to thrive!
We are looking for a new Executive Director
Since the loss of our founder and Executive Director, Sandy Slade, in 2025 the ADHD PEI Board has been working with two long-time volunteers who have been appointed as interim Executive Director (co-Directors). In 2026 are seeking someone to fill this role going forward.
